This is me!

Drawing sea-creatures and everything ‘ocean’ is what I love to do.  I regularly sea swim in my cozzie (year-round - well almost!) and have been know to paddle ocean canoes, do a bit of stand-up paddleboarding and a touch of surf life-saving!

I absorb all that nature and the the ocean can provide and am extremely grateful to live the life that I have.  The shapes and stories surrounding the ocean flora and fauna are what draw me into depicting them in my own way.

I draw for myself, take commissions and sometimes I’m asked to illustrate books.  I’m going wherever this art journey takes me!

I hope you enjoy my work too.  Thank you.  Debbie.

EXHIBITION DETAILS BELOW:

From 1 May to 13 June 2025, I was honoured to exhibit at the St Ives Society of Artists, St Ives, Cornwall.

I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the process for this exhibition!  I even sold my work, which was a huge bonus.

I have a range of smaller pieces, such as this Compass Jellyfish ink-drawing here and Shell Collection, all of which are in my online shop.

Sea Echoes Ocean Art

Here are some examples of the pieces I create.

Thanks for looking!

Ink-drawing and Pointillism

I am drawn to pointillism in my art due to its mesmeric effect. Whilst I am in the process, I can think of nothing else.  It’s a wonderful way to be absorbed.
